We delivered that empty trailer in Albuquerque at noon today and were given a new load to take all the way to Oregon….I will be home on time!
The load will be delivered in two days and I am sure I will pick up a load to take to Seattle or Pacific.
The past week and a half has been good, with three runs over 1000 miles and the 550 miles to drop an empty trailer.
My paycheck next week is going to be sweet!
I will be faxing off an application tomorrow to a company that everyone is crossing their fingers on…….that local driver position.
I will make sure you all hear about it after my “meet and greet” on Friday.
Other than that, another day and another truck stop.
Oh, I did find out my back trailer tire can push a 300 pound concrete barrier……opps!
And, Gonja thinks prairie dogs are short eared rabbits!
