Last day in the 4 wheel tin can!

I am moving on up.......to an 18 wheel tin can! Woke up to a chilly morning and ready to start packing for my 6 to 8 weeks away from home.  I am not going to miss the 4 wheel tin can as I will be off the property doing SOMETHING!  With only six months of work in the past two and a half years, I am ready to hit the highways of America.

The class met for the last time over dinner at Famous Dave's.  Stan and Vern even made it with their lovely wives.  Only Gale was a no show......  Thank you Mark for getting us all together!

Alrighty my future trucking buddies, get your bags packed and be ready to hit the road.  We will be landing in Phoenix tomorrow afternoon!

Busy Social Calendar!

My goodness, everyone disappears when you are around and at the last moment before I disappear, they come around.  Life being life, people come and go, so an occasional reach out reminds others that we are all still alive!  My calendar for the next two days is booked!

Spoke with Brian yesterday.  He decided at the last moment to join me as the new hires for BW.  But he waited a tad bit late and the cost for an airline ticket is now twice as what I paid.  So the man will "bring it on" for two days on a bus while I will be cruising in just three hours after I leave Seattle!  We plan on catching dinner together before we are sent out with our trainers.......this is going to be interesting!  Mr. Cocky and Ms. Don't Know When To Shut Up......at the same table!  Hope they hide our dinner knives ;)

I got the last of my shopping done and will be packing up the backpack tomorrow.  Yes, I did say my backpack.  Figure I might as well take my house in a bag for just in case my trainer and I don't get along.  You all know me, I have no issues just walking away if I am not happy!

Off to walk the Duvall trail as when I return, it will be warm and not covered in snow!
