Pictures!

This better be my last snow storm......for now!

Standing on the tracks......

Another trucking cat!

This is an old picture of Matt while we were in Florida.....this woman cut in front of him in line!  Hence his look and her.....don't care attitude.......scary!

Добрый вечер моя Российская виртуальная водителей грузовых автомобилей

Я просто хотел сказать спасибо вам за чтение принадлежащий мне blog сегодня, как не были столь многие из вас, что так сделали!

Grinning, bet I got my USA virtual truck drivers confused!

Night driving....was nice!

But it doesn't mean I want to do it often!  The sky was bright last night with a full moon smiling down on me through the cold skys of I-30 in Wyoming.  It was a nice view that I don't see often and even better when on a dark highway with no city lights and very little traffic

I had enough time on my clock for a hot breakfast before we hit the road at 8 AM.  We covered some good mile yesterday so a 9 to 10 hour drive is all we need.  I am going to try and be parked by 8 PM tonight........so we can watch the sun come down from a non-moving home.  That's right, I have found myself calling the truck, my home!  Oh man, I have spent too much time away from home!

Let's go my virtual truckers, it is going to be a great day!

I am one tired woman..........

It is almost 11 PM!  I arrived at Little America on I-80 just short of time and miles to reach the Flying J in Rock Springs, WY.  I pushed pissing off my dispatcher by leaving Rigby (?) 5 hours early to only gain those hours back by having two shippers that loaded me early........saving me from driving after midnight.

This load of spuds is going to Oklahoma City, due Sunday evening at 10 PM....again, past my bed time.  You know, all our dispatchers (at least in Salt Lake) are males.......they won't give you an inch if they can help it but unlike Werner, they respect you and the decisions you make if you need to stop early for safety.  I like that........

OHHHH......left the camera connection to PC at home so no pictures until I find another cord........thank you Sabrina as it was used to send your pictures from my home computer.....I am still waiting to see if you received them but from what your Mom stated, you have a lot on your plate.  My fingers are crossed for you!

See you all back in the cab by 7:30 AM!

Sitting in the truckwash bay.......

We finally made it to Salt Lake City!  While en route yesterday, our reefer crashed again.  I stopped at the TA in Boise for a new battery and was told all was good to go!  I got to Jerome where I spent a few hours with Lorene (thanks sistah for bringing me my eye glasses this morning); and at 3 AM this morning, the reefer died again!  It appears that the TA DID NOT check the alternator........augh!

So the reefer got jumped again, I got very little sleep (thank goodness I didn't stay over at Lorene's) and all was good.......until 40 minutes from the terminal.  Yuppers......reefer crashed!

We made it to the yard for repairs for the tractor and trailer.  I am loaded with an empty waiting on a new load assignment and that my dear truckers, has been my Thursday!  This week's paycheck is SMALL due to home time and let's hope for a money load next!

Now only am I learning how to get out of a soft spot with the tractor, I am learning the mechanics of a reefer........and not one broken nail, yeehaw!

It is snowing!

Gads!  It is going to be a long week  :(  I am at the Arrowhead Truckstop in Pendleton, OR, parked and waiting for the chain restrictions to be lifted on Cabbage and Meachum Pass.  I spent the night with the truck running and cabled to the reefer to keep it running.  I am losing this load in Salt Lake due to repair time for both truck and reefer.  This stop guarentees I won't be going to New Jersey.

Pendleton is calling for a severe rain storm today and I hope I am on the other side of the passes before it hits

Back on the road but not far!

Good evening from just south of Yakima!  We did not make it far today......between being stuck in my own driveway (dang truck can haul 45,000 pounds but can get traction for a small incline without a trailer) and given a load to pick up that was scheduled for 4 PM when I was up and running at 6 AM; we made it 4 hours before I was ready to call it a night.

Good news.......we got a sweet load of fish to take all the way to New Jersey!  Yuppers, a 2900 mile load!  Bad news, my APU went belly up and now the reefer needs service.  Let's hope the shop in Salt Lake City can take care of me quickly Thursday morning as this load is due on the 9th.  And my dang new cooler is not as cold as my previous one.......my frozen goods will have to be eaten within a week instead of 3.  Oh well!  I cook so good, there is no reason to wait  :)

Good night and see you all at 5 AM!

Grandson Pictures!

Got everything done except getting the truck organized.......tackling that in a bit (lack of sunshine has made this project the last item to get done)

Here is Irbie!

Learning how to cook with Grandmother!

He found his foot!

Box me up and send me to Mema Reia!

Now that is a making of a fine beard!
