Good morning from MM#116, Hwy 35 S, on our return trip to Laredo. I was hoping this was our last trip for the week as it is FRIDAY but Jorge just looked at me and SMILED. Looks like another overnight run to Houston and a short weekend at the hotel. I have to mix fun with needed sleep……..augh! I will fall asleep in the middle of my next tattoo!
It was brought to my attention that my impeccable writing skills were not up to my extreme standards by my sister, Lorene. She found errors on my last blog update! Say it isn’t so! I am so careful that my updates are typed in Word for first draft proofing and when updated to the blog, reread and previewed before final posting. OMG! I did read my last post and could only find one error, indented should have read indentured. She stated a couple of errors so I must be tired. I didn’t have time last night for the final proof …….. so shoot me! Ummm…..where is that second word sis?
I haven’t showered since Tuesday and Jorge offered to drop me off at the terminal so I can shower while he drops a load. I am thinking……NOT! If he is going to run this route another night, I need my sleep, the shower can wait. I think if I stink enough next week, I might have my hours by Tuesday! J I have gone days without a shower (camping trips) but being outside smelling of dirt and campfire smoke can’t compare to two dirty bodies locked in a tin can! Gads, now I smell like a trucker! I will keep you updated as I learn more……..hey toss me that deodorant!
