4/14/11 Morning from Joplin, MO

Good morning virtual truckers!  I am sitting at McD's having a rather expensive fruit and oatmeal (the high calorie burritos are soooo much better!).  Need to watch that somewhat womanly figure!

Well, it was a lot better day yesterday then I had expected because of loved one and dear friends were in contact with me via texting and telephone knowing of my struggles and letting me fill my “whine” bottle.  I laughed and giggled at some of the images they had flying around my head and it made for a smiling day.  Thank you all!

After doing the professional thing and contacting the fleet manager, it was brought to someone’s attention that I could finish my training in 11 days if I was given the hours that are now expected of me……so, I will be driving all day long!  Cross your fingers that this continues for then 11 to 12 days and I will be on my way to MY TRUCK!

On that note, Brian got his TRUCK today!  Congrats cowboy!

Safe roads…..I am off to drive!

Hiya Reia, i'm still following your posts,i really look forward to them actually, cos i've never been to any of the places you post about, so i'm kinda traveling around with ya, literally hahahaha, your pics are absolutely fantastic!! what a great place your in, although, what's Jeff's problem! does he not realize that you have to do a certain amount of hours to get your own truck or something pfffft i feel so sorry for ya, his nickname honestly suits him down to the ground, i'm amazed he's still allowed to work with his attittude, and that he hasn't gotten his fair share of black eyes, well he would of if he were working here like that LOL i hope that made you feel better :) just keep crossing your fingers and keep thinking of the great time your gonna have with your own wheels xx
