4/12/11 Jeff's new name is "Cancer"

Good afternoon from a tired and slightly pissed off Reia on the outside of Dallas, Texas.  I have had only 5 hours of sleep,  2 – two hr breaks in the past 30 hrs and my first meal in 8 hrs and Jeff decided that my attitude was worthy of leaving the truck again!  I told him he was the boss…….and guess what, I am still here!!!!!!  AUGH!!!
It is noon, I have been up since3 AM, Jeff’s hours run out around 5 PM and he expects me to drive after.  I told him I would drive until I was tired, you know safety first!  That really pissed him off but I am sitting here, not at the terminal as he would have lost this load and a day of missed miles.  He is a miserable man but not stupid!
I have only 106 hours left, haven’t heard from Brian yet as today is suppose to be his last day traveling with his trainer and he is ready to “bring it on” with BW if they give him a run around about giving him his truck…….he is ready to go home! I am not that far behind and let me tell you, there is no holding back my feelings if Jeff wants a battle…BRING IT ON!
Well, we made it to Perry, OK, before Jeff (new name is now CANCER) found a hole in a tire after he made the comment that he hoped I didn’t kill us.  I know for fact that tire was fine when we picked up the load as he checks all tires before we leave the lot.  I asked him to show me and the tires are in great condition.  He actually had to get a spray bottle with soap and spray the back inside of the tire to show a release of bubbles.......now don't tell me that wasn't intentional!

I haven’t spoken a word to him since he verbally assaulted and then humiliated me in front of others at the truck stop in Dallas.  And don’t plan to start either…..I like the vision of his face on road kill as I drive downs the road!  Now I am off my whine bottle and off to find decent web service.
We are on our way to Kansas to drop off a load and I don’t know more than that.  Picture time if I can get the service to work here!

I found this graveyard outside the last truck stop that fixed a very obvious bad tire!  It was a small graveyard with a hundred or so buried individuals.  It was not maintained and surrounded in garbage.  It really is a shame.

Can you imagine this as your headstone???  There was quite a few like this......

Reason for pre-trips!

Reason again for a pre-trip!  Some idiot purposely released the king pin from the fifth wheel and one little turn leaving the truck stop and the trailer slid off!

One of my many views.......and the bug is?

A nicer view........

Sorry to hear that your "Cancer" continues to grow and fester on you.... Soon you will be done and not have to deal with him. Just stick to it!
Miss you! Drive safe, and don't kill anyone....*coughjeffcough*

Holy Cow, Reia, I don't know how you do it. This guy sounds like a real case, (nut) and you are able to hang in there still. And so many hours, and you are not getting to drive? I am doing all the driving, and I still shift like crap (sometmes) continually have to use white out on my log sheets, but am generally doing OK. I may go home for a few days and test on Monday and then get a truck. I still have lots of homework to do, but I still have homework left from high school, and look at me now, Whoo Hoo I yam a truck driver! I wish you all the best Reia, and hope you are free soon. Hang in there!!
